Three international airports serve the South Miami region. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is ranked 19th in the U.S. for total passenger traffic in 2019, serving more than 36 million passengers. Palm Beach International Airport offers 200 non-stop flights daily to U.S., Canadian and Caribbean destinations and was ranked 7th best airport in the U.S. in Conde Nast Traveler’s 2021 Readers’ Choice Awards.

Efficient Travel from A to B
From the high-speed rail service Brightline to the low-cost commuter line Tri-Rail operated by the Southwest Florida RTA, trains give quick and easy from West Palm Beach to Miami. Both services allow passengers to bring bicycles onboard, making South Florida transportation a breeze. In Miami-Dade, the free elevated people mover system, Metromover, provides seven day access to many of the region’s popular destinations in downtown Miami.
