A Community of Culture and Inclusion
In South Florida, we’re firm believers that a community’s greatest asset is its people. And as one of the most diverse regions in Florida, our residents bring a variety of cultures, identities, and ideas to our shores. There’s a sense of vibrancy on our streets – from the music that fills the air in Little Havana to the food, art and acceptance that lines our palm-tree covered neighborhoods across the Palm Beaches. Not only are we a culture-rich region, but inclusion runs through our veins. No matter how you identify, there’s a place for you here. So come on in. Our door is always open.

A Metropolitan Melting Pot
South Florida is one of the most diverse regions in the state and we celebrate that diversity. From festivals like Carnaval to the American Black Film Festival and the Asian Culture Festival, we embrace our diversity and the cultures that make our community special, year-round. And we know that a key part of being a diverse community is focusing on inclusion. We’re also home to two of the most accessible beaches in Florida – Crandon Park Beach, Key Biscayne and Haulover Beach, Miami.

Life in Color
Fort Lauderdale is known as Florida’s gay capital, where you can live life on your own terms. It’s home to more than 100 gay-owned businesses and the Pride Center at Equality Park, an LGBTQ+ community center. Interested in celebrating Pride in a vibrant and welcoming community? Wilton Manners, proudly dubbed the “second gayest city” in the United States, hosts an annual Stonewall Pride Parade and Street Festival. No matter how you identify, you’re celebrated here.

A Taste of the World
Food is an integral part of so many cultures – and in South Florida, you can get a taste of the world delivered to your front door. Miami is known as the 3rd best city for diverse cuisine. Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale offer their own eclectic array of cuisine – from homestyle Cuban digs (Five of the top 25 Cuban restaurants in the country are in South Florida) to Thai and Vietnamese dishes. From the everglades to the coast, you can find everything from fine dining to quick eats.
